XX school has a total student enrolment of about 1000. A survey was concted to find out the factors which influences the music that they listen to.
The media play an important part in influencing the music that students listen to. The major factor which influences the music they listen to is TV or films, which is about 50%. This is because students spend much time watching television. Television has had much influence on students music life.
According to the survey, 25% of factor which influences the music students listen to is friends. During school life, friends often influence the music students listen to. When students make new friends, they tend to start listening to their music.
Radios is another media that influences the music they listen to. This accounted 15% for students who took part in the survey. Radios have been successful in entertaining students with various music. The influences of parents accounted 10%, which is the least in the survey. Actually, students listened to some music because their parents loved the music.
Students are influenced by music in attitudes and behaviours. Thus, students should be careful in which music to listen and not easily influenced by others.

Last week, I made a survey among students of **school. The subject is "which of the following influences the music that you listen to?"
About ** students was taken to this survey, and the result is as below.
Friends 25%
Radio 15%
TV/films 50%
parents 10%
as you see, 50% influences are from tv/films. that was not out of my expetation. because in this era, TV/films is the main media and we can't imagine our life without them.
we youth like to exchange information especially musics, so friends are the 25% factor, it has no doubt.
parents 10%, i was curious of it. so asked some students who chose the parents. they said their parents doesn't want to them listen Hiphops and raps, because they don't accept that kinds of music, so they don't want their children to accept it. yah, after listening their explanation, i thought it could be the reason.
